Style Log: Red Abstract (three)

I know today is usually Awkward/Awesome Thursday, but this week has been a blur...so moving on.  I do have some Awesome's though, so I'll get to those in a few.  First, the outfit...super comfy and simple.  At first I wasn't sure about wearing red and purple together, but after seeing the photos I like it! 

Okay, some awesome's.  My family came up for a visit this past weekend!  That was pretty awesome, even thought the weather didn't cooperate.  And I have another awesome, but I just realized that I probably shouldn't say anything quite yet.  For real though, I should be able to tell you tomorrow.  It's pretty exciting...for me anyway. :P

Style Log: Breezy Afternoons

Yes, it was a breezy, but beautiful, afternoon.  And by breezy I mean windy.  And by windy, I mean crazy insane wind that nearly knocked me over numerous times.  Brian actually took these photos for me, he still doesn't quite "get" the taking outfit photos thing, but he was a good sport! :P We attempted to grill later that night, even with the wind we got it done!  By the time our beer butt chicken was done {lol} we decided to eat inside, but it was super yummy!

#22 & #23 Bootie Love

I'm so lazy today, these two outfits look almost the exact same in these photos.  I promise in real life they don't!  Which is why it's best to take outfit photos while wearing the outfits!  However, since I am feeling exhausted and a bit sickly I ended up looking very frightening in the photos.

I do need to say that I love these booties!  I believe they are Worthington from JcPenny.  They are ridiculously comfortable, especially for heels!  On my work day outfit I just work them under my khakis and for my night out ensemble I tuck my jeans into them.  So versatile, eh?  :P

Speak of "eh" - anyone out there watch hockey?  I'm a fan and I'm a huge fan of the Minnesota Wild!  Which is why I'll now be leaving you to go cheer them on against the Avs.  GO WILD!

#16 Down Hill

I'm over the hump, it's all down hill from here.  In the good way, like I'm rolling quickly down the hill to the finish line! Woot!  By the way, this grey cardigan isn't in my original 30.  I'm swapping it out with the long sleeve teal cardi that I haven't worn yet.

 Today is Election Day!  It's city elections of some sort, I'm not sure.  Don't worry, I'm not going to be an uneducated voter, I'm just working.  I have to head back to work here soon and stay to collect tally's and such. 

One great thing about election day is that I got to wear jeans to work! That's always a good day.
